We had a wonderful time Stilt Waking at Centerfest this year. Looks like Red Deer loves giant birds! Thx to Miyako Palmer for catching this in the Red Deer Advocate.

A big thank you to the Brooks Medieval Faire for having me out. I had an amazing time, it was a wonderful event.
Getting to spend New Year Eve at a wonderfully fun event with some of my very favorite local entertainers was an incredibly lucky break. I had no idea till I arrived that the event had booked Mr Snowdon the amazing stilt walker, Visha Loo the insanely talented contortionist and Stephon Diachuk with his adorable juggling act.
We were also able to premiere our Acrobalance act after all the exhausting rehearsal. After reviewing the video of the performance 100 times i’m pleased to say it was very ok. 🙂
Filmed in one of the most beautiful and scenic places in Alberta. For this shoot we trekked out with fire props, camera gear and safety equipment to get some nice shots on the very last day before snowfall.
It may have been chilly and a little scary to spin on the ledge of a cliff, but it was well worth the results. Enjoy the video.
This video was filmed by the brilliantly talented Dallis Joseph Swiatek
